VALIDATED NODES
Validated nodes meet the most basic requirements for Azure Stack HCI. They’re ideal for customers that want to manage the nodes themselves or they have unique or custom workloads. Validated nodes are not tested with workloads, and all drivers and software components must be updated individually, and all security features must be enabled manually.

INTEGRATED SYSTEMS
The most popular choice for customers are Integrated Systems. Integrated Systems come pre-installed with Azure Stack HCI, with the latest software, firmware, and driver updates. Software, firmware, and drivers are updated two to four times a year during the hardware lifecycle. Hardware is certified and comes with at least 5 years of support. Support is integrated between both Microsoft and the partner, and security features are enabled by default. DataON Integrated Systems include a three-year warranty that can be extended to five years.
